AMIRA: A ONE DAY BRIDE
WHEN AND HOW WE MET
We met in Hampi, a tiny little ancient town in India (one of our favourite countries in the world).
OUR WEDDING LOCATION
The ceremony was held at a private family property and the reception was atMelbourne Show Grounds, Boulevard Pavilion.
THE DRESS : THE NALA GOWN
The Nala gown was the first and last dress I tried on! I saw it online and thought it was made for me. Working in fashion myself, I knew I didnt want to go down the path of made to measure as I know how much more time would need to be invested in it, and I wanted the process of the dress to be as seamless as possible so Nala was perfect in every way.
My beautiful friends and sisters organised the most amazing day and night (for me and 35 of my closest girlfriends quite a task!) They took us on a journey from St Tropez to Las Vegas, all in Melbourne. Needless to say there were plenty of drinks, dancing and debauchery.

ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES
Our wedding occurred during a cyclone, far from typical weather conditions so my advice would be to roll with what ever the day throws at you. Know that the main reason for the day is to celebrate marrying your lover, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and that your family and friends are there to support and celebrate you in what is an amazing and very special moment. Also take a break during the reception with your partner to relax, have a chat and just pause for a moment to enjoy each others company and reflect on the day.
