IF YOU COULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, RECREATE YOUR WEDDING, WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE? Or IF YOUR NOT MARRIED, TELL US ABOUT THE BEST WEDDING YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND WHY
I have been with my partner Ben for almost a decade and we are yet to find the time to tie the knot. The best wedding I have ever been to was a friends wedding on Lord Howe Island. Seventy five guests and five days of swimming, bbqing and celebrating their marriage over new years eve!
THE DRESS, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO WEAR RIGHT NOW?
A custom made One Day bridal gown of course!
IN THREE WORDS DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING STYLE.
Casual, laid-back, barefoot.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT HOW YOU BECAME INVOLVED IN YOUR INDUSTRY
I used to design wedding invitations and could never find a wedding magazine or blog that I wanted to advertise with. They were either too high brow and bridally or too cheesy. So I created Hello May magazine, a place where all kinds of weddings could find a home from small budget backyard affairs with Grandmas hand me down vintage wedding dress to big budget weddings with custom made bridal gowns and everything in between.
WHERE DO YOU DRAW YOUR INSPIRATION FROM?
The many varied and wonderful real weddings that our readers submit to us. Fine art and fashion photography and design.

YOUR WORDS OF ADVICE FOR ANY FUTURE BRIDE.
Dont do what you think you HAVE to do. Do what you WANT to do. Think cutting the cake is not a ritual you would like to partake in? Serve guests donuts instead. Cutting the cake really symbolic and important to you? Move it to immediately after the ceremony and enjoy a glass of champers and some cake with guests before photos. Its your wedding and you can write the rule book.
